Learn About Our Dependable Caregiving Services
At Danbury Nurses Registry, our services are designed to provide assistance to your loved one so that they can stay in their home safely and with dignity.
We were founded in 1930 by a group of registered nurses from the Danbury Hospital School of Nursing. The nurses formed an association to provide private care to patients in the hospital and at home.
In a continuous effort to offer quality caregivers, we at the Danbury Nurses Registry have earned an unparalleled reputation among the medical community and with area residents as being one of the best in delivering individual care. We are dedicated to providing the highest‑quality caregivers based on the clients’ personal needs.
For more than 75 years, we have continued to grow and expand as the needs of the community have changed. Since 1930, the Danbury Nurses Registry has helped tens of thousands of area residents remain at home during an extended illness or while recovering from an injury or surgery.
Today, the Danbury Nurses Registry is a family-owned and operated business and we have members that include personal care attendants (PCA), certified nurses assistants (CNA), licensed practical nurses (LPN), and also registered nurses (RN). Our experienced caregivers are reliable, professional, experienced, and trustworthy. Caregivers can be provided to you for 4 to 24 hours; in your home, hospital, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or anywhere you need care.
The staff at Danbury Nurses Registry is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. Our office hours are Monday and Friday 9 am‑2 pm and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays by appointment only. Outside of office hours, we are available to you via phone, text, or email.

Since 1930, Danbury Nurses Registry’s nurses and aides have been independent contractors. We screen each individual caregiver immensely, including criminal background checks. Caregivers are referred to you by Danbury Nurses Registry and paid directly by you, and they are responsible to pay their own taxes.
